Green Goddess Sauce

This is always the most popular sauce at my fondue parties. It is great with vegetables, but it is also a delicious dipping sauce for the meats. Leftovers? Use it to dip fresh veggies in for lunch, or toss it as a salad dressing!

Equipment

  • Mixer

Ingredients 

  • 8 oz. cream cheese

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • ¼ cup milk

  • ¼ cup chopped parsley

  • ¼ cup chopped chives

  • ¼ cup minced shallot

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

Instructions 

  1. Using a hand mixer, cream the cream cheese, sour cream, and milk until smooth.

  2. Add the parsley, chives, shallot, and garlic powder and mix well.

  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour, or overnight. The flavors will develop by letting it sit, so this is a great day ahead sauce.
